I decided to do my first blog with the song What makes you beautiful from One Direction. Mainly I picked this song because there my favorite Artists. This is one of the very first songs done by One Direction. However their first official song was Everything About You but the first one to be heard on the radio in America was What makes You beautiful. This group is fairly new they have only been around for about a year and a half. However, just because their new does not mean there song have no meaning. This song is all about telling someone how beautiful they are to you, its shows us that even though you might not see it someone else see the beauty that you have. I love hearing this song because no matter how down I am hearing this song always make me smile.
i love this song! the first time i heard it, it reminded me of a mix between summer nights from grease (the beginning rythm) and a song called superstar by Big Time Rush. After listening to it more though, i don't hear the comparison anymore. I also think it's amazing how these guys have thick british (and one irish) accents, but when they sing, you dont hear any of that. As far as the lyrics go, you and steve are absolutely correct. The individual may not see their own beauty, when someone else thinks they're extremely beautiful.
I agree with your comments after the video. I think you hit the nail on the head when you do not see the beauty in someone, someone else might.
